Case Study: Diskus
The following example is just one from a list of achievements over recent years and illustrates the capability Bespak has in this area.
Bespak successfully industrialised Diskus from clinical to commercial volume supply. This also included a major expansion and technology change programme on Diskus, transitioning Bespak from first generation tooling and assembly technology to a state of the art capability. This incremental project included new clean rooms, a significant investment in new presses, 44 machine moves, new assembly line installations and validations, and a tooling programme of many new tools. This was undertaken in parallel to ongoing uninterrupted supply of the product.
